Adam Bad Wound

I'm Adam Bad Wound and my mission is to strengthen people and planet through philanthropy.

I manage this website so that I can share a bit about my professional background, personal interests, family history, and notebook.

Professionally, I'm a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) serving as a fund development executive based in the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently, I am Vice President of Development at GRID Alternatives, an international organization that makes renewable energy technology and job training accessible to frontline communities. Our triple bottom line is people, planet, and employment. You are invited to join us as we work hard for a transition to clean, renewable energy that includes everyone.

Personally, I'm interested in exploring and supporting a wide variety of causes and organizations that are important to me, including those working in biodiversity, citizen science, civic ecology, civil society, conservation, energy, education, environmental justice, natural history, naturalism, resiliency, technology, and the sociology of knowledge, among a nearly endless list of interconnected interests.

My primary voluntary activities are devoted to Stanford University, where I serve on the board of directors of the Stanford Alumni Association, Stanford Club of San Francisco, Stanford Native American Alumni Association, and Stanford Pride.

Welcome to my personal website, which I started on September 26, 2002. Please be advised that all thoughts expressed are my own, according to my disclaimer on the footer of each page.

I invite you to contact me if anything sparks your curiosity.

Peace,

Adam
